This Eufycam 2 Pro contains 2 cameras that record in very sharp 2K resolution. You can use these cameras to monitor places indoors or outdoors. These smart security cameras can be linked to Apple HomeKit, so you can also control it with your voice using Siri. They have improved night vision and a motion sensor. This recognizes people, so the camera doesn’t record unnecessarily when there’s an animal nearby. Thanks to the wireless range of these cameras, the signal stays strong even at a greater distance from the base. The Eufycam 2 stores footage locally and you can watch the recorded footage through a secure connection in the app.

Design

The Eufycam Pro 2 Design looks nice and modern, it’s not too large and the rounded edges, grey and white sides and slim profile make it look great and not too invasive. The rear of the camera is where you find the MicroUSB port for charging which has a protective cover.

Camera Quality

The Eufycam 2 Pro supports up to 2K video, works during the day and night and also supports 2 way audio. It has a 140 degree field of view which means it has good area coverage. I’ve found that the quality of this camera is great regardless of the time of day with it producing crisp, clear video. The audio recordings are fine too but the speaker on the camera isn’t really usable but can make a very loud alarm noise when you need it to.

Battery Life

The EufyCam 2 Pro’s battery will last up to one year before it requires recharging. This figure is based on recording 20 videos per day, each at 30 seconds in length. However, how often motion is detected, how many times the live feed is viewed, and the number of times the two-way microphone and speaker are used, will all affect the rate at which the battery depletes.

App

As with all models in Eufy’s range of home security cameras, the EufyCam 2 Pro pairs with the Eufy Security app. which displays a list of Eufy security cameras in your home as soon as it is launched. Each with a snapshot of the most recent motion detection. The EufyCam 2 Pro offers integration with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and HomeKit, so you can view the Eufy’s live feed on a smart display or TV with a compatible streaming device attached.
